Yet another enchanting afternoon at the Pavilion, 80 members and 10 visitors watched Chelsea Gold Medal winner and National Demonstrator Tracey Griffin create spectacular and unusual creations using a variety of mechanics and stunning flowers.  The Club gave her a well deserved standing ovation.

Many thanks to Geraldine Prosser for her Vote of Thanks, Paula Harper for her Foyer Flowers, and all the volunteers who helped stage this lively demonstration.

83 Club members and visitors gave Sionedd a well deserved standing ovation for her “Beyond Mere Words” demonstration.  The arrangements were varied and wonderful with some really useful foliage tips dispensed to us.  Sionedd’s tales of life in general and on her farm had us all wanting her re-booked for an update very soon.

Many thanks to the volunteers who as usual helped the committee stage this first demonstration of 2025, particular thanks to members Jan Mallett for her foyer flowers and Pat Jacques for her vote of thanks.

The committee were delighted with the amount of 2024 members who have already renewed their membership for 2025, and are delighted to welcome 7 brand new members for 2025.

AGM

The AGM and afternoon tea were really well attended by Members who took the opportunity to renew their subscriptions. The main meeting was followed by a talk by representatives of the Club’s 2025 charity HCPT which was both interesting and informative.  Donations of Christmas Cards for recycling by the Cobalt Unit surpassed all expectations.  Big thanks to the club members Karen, Heather, Anne, Jan & Dru who all helped the committee by preparing home cooked delicacies for the “picnic boxes”.
