Over 100 members and visitors were enchanted by Katherine Kear’s magical demonstration. She received a well deserved standing ovation and a heartfelt vote of thanks from Christine Ramsey. Special thanks go to committee member Elizabeth Sales for her wonderful mince pies, President Rosemary Stammers for her Foyer Flowers and all of the Volunteers and Committee members who helped stage such a wonderful afternoon.
November Demonstration – “Anything Goes” by Donald Morgan
72 Members and 9 Visitors gave Donald well deserved standing ovation, Donald’s use of colour made his vibrant arrangements a joy to see. His anecdotes of demonstrating and competing in the floral world thoroughly entertained his audience and we all wish him well in his forthcoming National Demonstrator Tests.
Thanks to Winifred Silver for her “Firework” themed foyer flowers, to Chris Hyett for her vote of thanks and to all the volunteers who helped to stage the demonstration.
October 2025 Meeting
The club celebrated another well attended meeting with 78 members and 10 visitors. The Club Autumn competition “Foraging the Hedgerows” had a few entries, thank you to all the members who participated, Novice Class was won by Liz Barnes and the Club Class by Di Roe. Chairman Caroline congratulated President Rosemary Stammers on her successful results at Malvern Autumn Show. Visitor tickets went on sale for the Christmas Demonstration on 8th December and members and visitors started to sign up for the Christmas Lunch and Demonstration trip to Pam Lewis in Devizes on 10th December.
Demonstrator Jackie Page provided a colourful afternoon with a variety of arrangements depicting “Connections”, member Dru Lambert provided autumnal Foyer Flowers and President Rosemary gave Jackie a well deserved vote of thanks.

September 2025 Demonstration “Artistic Licence” by Dawn Weaver
Another wonderful afternoon for the club, with 87 members attending, this was the best members attendance since the 2023 Christmas Demonstration. The club were also delighted to welcome 6 visitors.
Dawn’s spectacular flowers, use of colour, and sheer quantity of arrangements earned her a very well deserved standing ovation. The committee would like to thank all the volunteer helpers particularly Doreen Parsons for her foyer flowers and Sue Blakey for her vote of thanks.
Chairman Caroline announced that following the success of the summer outing to Devizes, the club would be holding a Christmas lunch and demonstration trip back to Pam Lewis on Wednesday 10th December, tickets will be on sale for this and the main Christmas Demonstration at the October and November meetings.

Update – Workshop, Coffee Morning, Christmas Trip
Sadly the proposed workshop scheduled for 20th October will now not take place, however we do have two new events;
On Thursday 2nd October Elizabeth Sales will host a coffee morning for members who wish to learn more about helping out at demonstrations or serving on the committee.
Following the popularity of the summer trip to Pam Lewis’ studio and garden in Devizes, Caroline is in the process of booking a Christmas trip scheduled for the first week in December this will include Lunch, a Demonstration, and return coach travel from Cheltenham.
Further details will be available at the next meeting on Monday 8th September.
